From African savannas and deep oceans to rainforests, Arctic worlds, and mixed ecosystems, players can choose their habitat and create an animal team that feels uniquely their own. Many card abilities are inspired by real animal behaviors, natural strengths, predator-prey relationships, and food chain dynamics.

Long Version:  Animal TCG is an animal-themed trading card game designed for collectors, animal lovers, families and tabletop gamers.

Built around the idea of “Choose Your Habitat,” the game lets players create their own animal team by combining species from different ecosystems and play styles. Whether a player is drawn to African savanna predators, ocean creatures, rainforest species, Arctic animals, or a custom mix of habitats, each deck becomes a personal expression of their favorite corner of the natural world.

The game is also “Inspired by Real Wildlife.” Many card abilities and interactions are based on real-world animal behaviors, natural strengths, predator-prey relationships, and food chain dynamics. For example, certain predators may gain advantages by hunting prey animals, helping players strengthen their strategy and evolve their board.

Brand Story

Animal TCG was founded by Peter. Chan, a wildlife photography creator and lifelong card collecting enthusiast.

Through wildlife photography, Peter developed a deep appreciation for animals, habitats, and the behaviors that make each species unique. As a card collector, he also understood the excitement of opening packs, discovering artwork, building a collection, and sharing that experience with a community.

Animal TCG was born from the intersection of those two passions: wildlife and trading cards.

Built around the ideas of “Choose Your Habitat” and “Inspired by Real Wildlife,” the game invites players to build animal teams based on the habitats, species, and strategies they love most. Many card abilities are inspired by real animal behaviors, natural strengths, predator-prey relationships, and food chain dynamics.

Peter’s vision is to create a trading card game that feels collectible, strategic, accessible, and full of discovery — a game where players can experience the wild through cards.
